Byars construction did a great job on replacing the siding of my parent’s house. It looks like a brand new house. The workers did an amazing job on the house. They made sure everything was perfect and to our satisfaction. Carl and Allie were very knowledgeable about the construction process and also helped us a lot with picking the correct colors that go with brick of the house.

After reading their outstanding online reviews, we chose Byars Construction to remodel our 1980 home. Now, our beautiful renovation is finished, and I'm going to add my own rave review to the list.

Under company owner Carl's leadership and motto of "always make the customer happy," we had an extremely positive and successful, high-quality renovation. His wife, Allie, was always up to date on all product orders and detailed invoices, and also offered helpful current decorating and styling trend ideas. Uncle Danny, project manager, and his crew of Corey and Adrian, worked their magic on our home with their exceptional construction skills and craftsmanship, and close attention to details. They were friendly, respectful, and so easy to work with, and put great effort into making sure we were pleased with their work. Needless to say, we are overjoyed with the results!

To start with Carl was extremely professional in all aspects of this project.

At one point I planned to do this repair myself but after seeing how much it would involve I could see that someone with more experience was needed. Carl brought in Danny Byars who knew all about the framing issues that we were facing. I was so impressed with Danny's knowledge that I didn't even get a second opinion.

I've dealt with other contractors before and am well aware how they don't always do what they promise. Not so with Byars, they presented their paperwork and did exactly what it said. Danny and his crew showed up on time and were very efficient, even finishing a day earlier than stated.

The pricing was what I thought was very reasonable. Carl was very honest in that we asked about another repair and he recommended another contractor because he thought that they might have better prices than him. That showed integrity.

I 100% recommended Byars Construction & Repair. Very impressed from start to finish.

My wife and I wanted to upgrade our dining room, foyer and hallway. After discussions with Carl, we ended up re-texturing and painting all the walls and ceilings and added some new doors to dining room. All trim was sanded and painted to give all three rooms an appearance that made all rooms look like a brand-new home. We added a built-in desk and cabinet as well.

Carl gave us a preliminary start date and hit the target. When work began, his crew worked every day to completion. You can count on them being there for a full day's work.

We would definitely recommend Byars Construction and Remodeling if you are anticipating this type of remodeling.

We contracted with Byars Construction for two projects in our 27-year-old barndominium. The first was to design and build a utility room with a full bath. This phase required a very labor-intensive concrete demo to install the plumbing and in addition to some unique construction requests. The final product was a very, very well constructed space with top-of-the-line finishes. With a Murphy bed installed it is also a guest suite.

Phase 2 was a complete remodel of our living area. The bathroom was enlarged to include custom cabinets, vanity and a beautiful tile shower. A new large walk-in closet is a perfect fit for the bedroom. The kitchen has all new custom cabinets with granite countertops. Custom built in cabinets on one wall replaced free standing bookshelf and china hutch making a more spacious room. When we found it difficult to finalize our color selections Carl arranged to have a paint color specialist come to project to advise. This was one of many over-the-top services Carl and Allie provided us during the projects. Gilbert and Jonathon were the team for both projects. They did a phenomenal job and were great to work with.

Carl and Allie walked us through the whole project. From the pencil drawings on scratch paper to our dream home. Their staff are the best of the best in the business. When the job starts the crew is on site until the work is complete. Quality and customer satisfaction is their highest priority. We highly recommend Byars Construction and Remodeling.

He and his Wife Allie were very helpful in picking styles, colors, and all aspects of our new kitchen. The crew we were blessed to work with were Gilbert, Jonathan, and Joe. You kind of panic when a door to your house will not close! I live in the country in an old renovated farmhouse. The tracks on my sliding glass door had become bent and the door was, therefore, inoperable. I called three window and door companies in Victoria. Two never returned my call. Carl Byars not only called but came that day and got my door at least functional. I was so impressed that I asked him to work up a bid to replace the door and six windows. Once some of the windows were removed, his crew discovered a significant amount of rotting wood. For the next three days, Carl, John and Ricardo worked tirelessly in 103° heat to replace, caulk, and paint a large section of my house, and install a sleek new door and equally beautiful windows. I already have the next project, deck repair, lined up with Byars Construction this fall. They are trustworthy, fair, and do everything and more that they say they will do. Byars Construction installed a window in an upstairs loft for us. We had a window that we ordered from a third party company that came with many issues. Carl Byars was patient with us and helped us work through the problems with the windows company. Also, when the window was ready to install. We hired Byars Construction to do a complete kitchen remodel in the spring of 2023. At the time of this review, we’ve been in our new kitchen for six weeks and we continue to be very happy. The electrical work (new outlets and lighting) and plumbing (sink, disposal, and refrigerator) have never given us any problems. No power outages or shorts, and no leaks. The cabinets, drawers, and slider insert not only look beautiful, but they all work exactly as we had hoped. Gilbert did beautiful work. He is accommodating, friendly, easy to work with, and very professional. Carl is also very professional, accommodating, and friendly. He was patient with us in coordinating the acquisition of materials and appliances, and he completed the project on time and under estimate.
